School Visits and Writing Workshops

The workshop is based around the theme of everyday heroes in our communities. Each child is encouraged to think of an everyday hero in their community, to write a few words about that hero, and to create an illustration. This acts as a springboard to help the children develop a story about a community hero over the following weeks. The workshop also covers basic story structure and how to write a story. Includes singalong. All school visits can be tailored to the school’s classroom and learning needs.
